We’ve compiled the most common inquiries to help you navigate our programs with clarity and confidence.
Who can join Strativate?
Strativate is open to students from junior high school, high school, and university. Beginners are welcome, and we adapt the pace and approach to each student's level and goals.
Do students need prior business knowledge to start?
No. Many students start with zero background. We begin from the fundamentals, simplify complex concepts into practical steps, and build confidence through guided practice.
What is the difference between Top Student Mentors and Young Professional Mentors?
We offer two mentor categories to match different needs. Top Student Mentors are high-achieving university students with strong business competition experience and a relatable student perspective. Young Professional Mentors are early-career professionals with industry exposure, often in areas such as consulting or finance, who help connect competition work to real-world standards and career readiness.
What types of competitions do you support?
We support major business competition formats, including Business Case, Business Plan, Marketing, Pitching, Business Essay, Scientific Paper, Accounting and Finance, and Policy Case competitions
What topics do you cover during mentoring?
Common topics include ideation, problem framing, market and business analysis, strategy, proposal writing, and presentation preparation. The exact focus depends on your competition and goals.
Is Strativate for individuals or teams?
Both. Students can join individually or as a team. We can support team coordination, role clarity, and collaboration depending on the competition format.
What is the difference between a Private Class and a Consultation?
Private Class is a structured learning journey designed for end-to-end skill building. Consultation is a focused question-and-answer session where students bring specific challenges and receive clear direction and actionable next steps.
How does private mentoring at Strativate work?
1) You share your goals, current level, and timeline. 2) We then match you with a suitable mentor and schedule sessions based on availability. 3) Sessions are conducted online and designed to create measurable progress with clear action items.
How are mentors matched with students?
Mentor matching is based on: 1) Your level, 2) Goals, 3) Competition category, timeline, and preferred learning style, so the guidance stays relevant and efficient.
How do online sessions work?
Sessions are delivered online through a video meeting platform. Students can share documents or slides for review, receive live feedback, and leave with structured next steps.
Can Strativate help with proposal or pitch deck review?
Yes. We provide detailed feedback to improve structure, clarity, logic, and overall quality so your submission is more competition-ready.
Do you provide mock presentations?
Yes. Mock sessions simulate a competition setting and include presentation practice and question-and-answer drills, followed by structured feedback for improvement.
How many sessions should a student take?
It depends on your starting point and timeline. Some students need a short boost for specific areas, while others prefer a longer plan for full preparation. We can recommend a plan after understanding your goals.
What outcomes can students expect?
Students typically gain stronger business fundamentals, clearer thinking, improved communication, and higher confidence in presenting ideas, supporting both competition performance and future career pathways.
